Nice the capital of the French Riviera is the top most tourist city in France after Paris, with nearly 2 billion Euros of economic impact for 4 million visitors. It is the second best airport after Paris, with 10 million passengers in 2000. Also has the second best convention city in France after Paris, some of the best hotel facilities in France after Paris, one-third of the capacity on theFrench Riviera- nearly 200 establishments with some 10,000 rooms.

Over 4million visitors in Nice, 41% from France and 59% from abroad mostly from Italy, Germany, the US (+12%) and UK.
